How Can hand Tremors Along With Rapid Heart Rate Be Treated?

My husband is experiencing shaking hands (mild tremors), feeling jittery inside, heart racing, anxious feeling. He is 52, in good health. BP 118/80 P 80 R 18 RBS 179 post postprandial. DX osteoarthritis; Bi Polar; obese. This has happened before but stopped quickly, today he hasn t been able to shake the feelings. Medications Mobic 15mg qd; Zoloft 100mg qd; Trileptal 100mg i tab qam and ii tabs qhs; Prilosec 40mg qd; MV i qd; B12 ii tabs qd.

Hi,

It looks like he must be having raised thyroid level. The symptoms looks typical and for that you need to visit an endocrinologist and get thyroid profile done.

These symptoms can be because of anxiety or side effects too still you have to consult the endocrinologist to rule out the underlying cause.
